1.3. Users manual

There are two plugins users have to insert into a page. OpenID loginbox to show the OpenID form in the frontend and  OpenID Manage, which will be shown, when a frontend user correctly signs on.

To configure the extension see Configuration.

Figure 3: Backendview of the OpenID page

To use an OpenID form on your website you have to insert it as a plugin.

Figure 4: Insert plugin OpenID

If you want to insert the plugin, you have to choose what to display - OpenID login box or OpenID manage. The OpenID Login box is shown to every user who visits the page, if you do not change the default access. The OpenID manage is only displayed to a registered user.

To use all functions of the OpenID extension, you have to insert the plugin twice, first to display the login box, then to display the OpenID manage.

Figure 5: Users and OpenIDs stored in the backend

Website users and OpenIDs are stored in a sysfolder. To configure in which sysfolder users and OpenIDs should be stored, you have to use TypoScript (only available for administrators). See Reference of TypoScript.
