1.2. Introduction

What does it do?

  1. This Extension gives you a loginbox that can be used with any OpenID Login.

  2. What is OpenID: OpenID is a decentralized single sign-on system. It helps users to register and sign on on websites without the need of traditional user identification like username or password. OpenID let users safely sign in to different websites with a single password. Users need to be previously registered on a website with an OpenID "identity provider".

Features:

  1. OpenID form: plugin for an OpenID form, the OpenID registration and the OpenID sign on  

  2. OpenID manage: plugin for editing OpenIDs in the frontend by a frontend user

Requirements

  1. For this extension you need curl on your server.

TYPO3

  1. at least Typo3 4.0

PHP Version

  1. should work on all PHP versions that are also supported by TYPO3 (from 4.1.2 to 5.2.x)

After the login at the OpenID server you can assign your OpenID login with an existing TYPO3 user or you can create a new User (if this feature is activated by TypoScript).
