You must have a page / sysordner with some tt_calender items. Now you can create an content-element (e.g. on your startpage) with type “insert plugin” and select the plugin “Advanced Calender Extended (Box)”. Then you can select the page / sysordner with your calender-items.

Important: The feature “Recursive” isn't implemented yet!!!
