Create a pagetree like in the picture 2
The page “Example for a treeview” is a page of type “Page”
The page “Example Tree” is a page of type “Sysfolder”
Insert the extension into the page “Example for a treeview”.
Select the sysfolder “Example Tree” and select “create a new record”. First of all you must create the root category. In this example it is “Deutschland”. To make “Deutschland” the root category, type “Deutschland” in the title field and save the form. Then you must create a subcategory. In this example it is “Nord-Rhein-Westfalen”. Type “Nord-Rhein-Westfalen” into the title field. To make “Nord-Rhein-Westfalen” a subcategory, select “Deutschland” in the field “Parent Uid” and save the form. Then you must create a subcategory of “Nord-Rhein-Westfalen”. In this example it is “Köln”. Type “Köln” in the title field. To make “Köln” a subcategory from “Nord-Rhein-Westfalen”, select “Nord-Rhein-Westfalen” in the field “Parent Uid” and save the form.
Select the page “Example for a treeview”. In this example select “Köln” in the Items field on the right side. “Köln” gets selected in the Selected field on the left side. The plus/minus icons can collapse und uncollapse the tree.
