1.1. Introduction

WARNING

This extension is geared towards brand new, websites. Use of this extension with websites already populated with content may experience display issues.

What does it do?

  1. Overview: Cannonbose Site Starter sets sensible defaults for widely used extensions.

  2. What problem is solved? Normally, for a new site, you would have to set these settings manually.  You can use the cbstarter defaults, or your own modifications, and get your desired settings ready to go when creating a new site.

  3. Who is interested in this? People who create multiple sites and also someone creating a site for the first time who doesn’t want to struggle with TYPO3’s non-intuitive defaults.

  4. This extension has settings for UserTS, PageTS, Constants, Setup, and localconf.php.  You may not need to edit anything at all, although you will likely want to change review options in scripts/localconf.php.
