Spring is nice, sun shines, Amelie is cute with a little hat. Almost walking, crawling around of course. She is so happy. She smiles when she sees me. She loves me I think.
Half a year, still loving it!
Amelie is wonderful! Every morning I feel so blessed with this kid. You can't imagine how it feels inside when everything else fades and all that is left is a feeling of love and meaning that transcends everything you tried to reach in your ambitious youth.
If this is "growing up" I love it!

Halleluja! Amelie Frilund Skårhøj is a healthy, beautiful girl, a little princess! 3150 g / 51 cm, entered the world 1:58am 1st of April at Hvidovre Hospital in Copenhagen. These are the facts that excite a father and seem pretty dull to everyone else not affected by the parental flu that hits you like a hammer without prior notice. This sort of "downtime" from the regular online state most of us are in doesn't let itself be scheduled. Nevertheless its the worlds best excuse to enjoy life, have a cigar and be happy, isn't it? It will of course be interesting to see how many system resources this child process will consume and I suppose that "clear all cache" will have a new physical meaning on a daily basis now. Anyway, I'm looking forward to have my skill set extended with diaper change and other yet unfaced challenges!
Thank you Jesus for bringing the magnificent gift of life and purpose to mankind!
