My everyday life is pretty much the same each day;
I wake up, kiss my wife goodbye before she leaves for Uni. Depending on how late I was up programming last night, I decide whether to sleep an hour more or not.
When I'm finally at the computer I wonder how it's possible to have 35 new emails during the last 6 hours (since last night, 3 am).
I try to focus on todays tasks. Probably boring bug-fixes and development of new stuff in Typo3. The most stressfull factor is the fact that some items have been on my todo-list for years and I'm not even close to start implementing them. Hmm...
Some mails was encouraging acknowledgements. Oh, boy, those are good! I usually print them out and hang them on my office wall! But today, in the midst of the huge amounts of requests for support I find a very seldom mail. One of those rare, rare instances which I do not demand, but certainly hope for! This is what it said:

Stephan Niebrügge has been using Typo3 for some time. Look at the case stories for more information.
I would like to thank him and Kreis-Warendorf publicly for being some of those people finding Typo3 worthy of a donation. Others has also done so through the last year and I'm just as grateful for their donations as well!
If anybody would take this as a hint, I do write invoices for Typo3 consultancy so you can avoid taxes or whatever. Donations are a great way to express your gratitude for this software. And if you're using it commercially you're saving yourself huge amounts of money! Just remember that.
"Thanks" alone does not feed my family... :-)
