This video was made to be a part of a cultural arrangement in my church, Bethlehemskirken, in Copenhagen friday 12th of October 2001.

The initial title is from Isaiah 60:2a saying 'darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples'. The end title is from Johns Gospel 8:12, Jesus saying 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life'.

The girl in the movie is my wife and my good friend, Benjamin Hendriksen, has composed and played the music. The video footage is recorded around where I live in Copenhagen and edited in Adobe Premiere 6. It was saved for web with 'dual-ISDN' settings as a WMV file. The clip is 3 min and 27 seconds and takes up a little more than 2 MB. It's inserted on this page with the standard multimedia content element in Typo3.

I hope this video will touch your heart for a moment. To me it does. It rips me out of my busy life and brings me into the presence of my saviour, Jesus Christ. And it reminds of where I come from and where I'm going after this life. That's peace of heart and mind in these troubled times!
