Qualification: just be a "normal user"
Goal: Test the usability, continuity and the texts of typo3.org
Description
We know typo3.org still has some glitches and little issues to solve. However, it is hard for us to distinguish which issues bug you during your daily life. Somebody taking over that task needs to find the little usability issues and write problem descriptions to it, ready for use at this page. We want to increase the user experience drastically.
Thanks to Stefano Cecere and Kees van der Hall for taking over this!
Qualification: TypoScript template building, XHTML, CSS
Goal: Build up and maintain a new typo3.org section "template repository", where everybody can download nice and clean xhtml templates.
Description
Many users new to TYPO3 ask us why we don't have nice, clean templates ready for a quick start. Of course, there are these ugly static templates which didn't change since version 3.5, but they are not up-to-date anymore.
Your job will be to create and maintain a template repository page on typo3.org where everybody can download nice, clean XHTML compliant templates as t3d files ready for use within TYPO3. It is not needed to create an extension for that job, updating the page manually is absolutely sufficient for a start.
Of course, you don't need to create all the templates on your own, your job is instead to lead the team and coordinate the efforts.
If you are looking for continuous commitment towards TYPO3, this job is for you!
Thanks to Eike Diestelkamp for wanting to coordinate everything and to Dominique Feyer for taking the job of writing a first template!
Qualification: Graphics design
Goal: Create TYPO3 banners which can be included at webpages supporting TYPO3.
Description
Many open-source projects provide banners in various ways and sizes which can be used by webmasters to link to the project. It is a pity that there are no banners for TYPO3 yet, that's why we need you to create some banners for our project!
Thanks to Andreas Balzer for taking over that job!
